The Firm has attorneys with Masters of Law in Taxation from nationally recognized law schools. They have broad experience in all areas of federal, state and local taxation, including the taxation of corporations, partnerships, individuals, estates, tax exempt organizations and pension plans. The Firm's transactional lawyers are well equipped to handle the tax aspects of major transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, the sale of assets and the sale of stock. Recently, our tax attorneys handled all tax aspects of a major transaction involving the formation of an insurance company by a transfer of assets from an operating company. Our tax attorneys are admitted to the United States Tax Court and handle tax controversies at all levels, including protesting proposed tax assessments with the IRS, and the State and Counties of Oklahoma.
