Honored as Recipients of the 2011 Leadership in Law Awards

Paul Dudman and Doneen Jones of Fellers Snider law firm have been named recipients of the 2011 Leadership in Law award. They were honored at the 2011 OCBA Law Day Luncheon on May 2, 2011 at the Skirvin Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City. The Leadership in Law program, sponsored by The Journal Record, was created to honor legal professionals for their community efforts.

Paul Dudman has been an attorney  for over 36 years and concentrates his practice in the areas of wills, trusts, estate planning, probate law, not-for-profit and charitable organizations and corporate law.

For many years, Dudman has committed much of his time to various community organizations. These include: Board of Trustees for The Oklahoma City Riverfront Redevelopment Authority; member of the Finance Committee (former chairman) and former Board of Trustees of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation; member and Chairman of Riverfront Design Committee, Oklahoma City; Downtown Rotary Club; Executive Committee member and former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Allied Arts Foundation; member and former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of St. Anthony Hospital Foundation; member and Past President of the Board of Trustees of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic Foundation; past president of Committee of One Hundred; former Chairman and former Board of Trustees of Casady School; former Board of Directors of Oklahoma City Art Museum; and former Board of Directors and former Chairman of the Finance Committee of Sweet Briar College, Virginia.

Doneen Jones has spent over 30 years in the legal profession. Jones' practice focuses primarily on representation of creditors and trustees in bankruptcy reorganizations, both large and small. She also has a strong emphasis on commercial litigation and commercial and transactional matters, plus loan documentation and restructure and informal workouts of commercial loans. Her expertise includes commercial mortgage foreclosures, mechanics and materialmen’s lien foreclosures, lender liability defense, and oil and gas litigation. In addition, Jones represents lessors of commercial shopping centers and malls in lease disputes and eviction proceedings.

She was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America in the specialty of Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights Law and is highly involved in community organizations including City Care, St. Paul Catholic Church and Emerson High School E-Mentoring Program.
